MEET THE
Architect.

I'm Simon — the ear behind Taiga.
Taiga means tiger where my family's from, and I've built everything I do around that — reading a room the way you'd read weather, patient until it's time to move.
West Coast hip-hop raised my ear. Dre, Snoop, 2Pac, The Game — then Kendrick and YG carrying the torch forward. Laid-back, low and slow, sun-soaked. That's the foundation everything else got built on.
Then Philly got a hold of me and changed everything. Grittier. Faster. More serious about the pocket. I don't pick a coast — I play both, back to back, until the room forgets which one it's standing in.
I don't play a set list. I play the room in front of me, track by track, watching who's already dancing and who's daring me to earn it. Trust isn't in the drop — it's built in the first ten songs, before anyone's decided to stay. By the time they've decided, the whole night is mine to shape.
Outside of my own bookings, I run Remixologists — a collective for DJs who take the craft seriously enough to keep studying it. Building other DJs up is part of how I stay sharp myself.
How I Got Here.
